CRISIS AND CHANGE
 
Oh, that we’d stir ourselves and find
The grit to make a change 
Addressing things long overdue
That we should rearrange
To put an end to all the plights
Which bring such pain and grief;
To lost, emaciated souls
Who hunger for relief
 
Our world, with very glaring needs
Yet challenges our will
And demands of us the courage
To fight for fairness still
We find ourselves in crisis mode 
Flagging with no sound plan 
Oh, if a crisis can’t prompt change
Then sadly, nothing can
