STILLNESS
 
In stillness is found quiet rest
Plus peace at seekers’ wise behest
With sweeps of solace o’er the heart 
Re-energizing every part
Due stillness points to mystic things  
As truth descends on outstretched wings
Ah, in that realm, true light appears
Revealing all that’s in arrears 
Great healing moments e’er unfold
When stillness doth the soul enfold
 
It’s in the stillest hours we see
How complex is life’s mystery
In nakedness, newness is birthed
And chained to freedom, there’s a spurt
As stillness brings a stirring feel
Expressed externally as zeal
Hence, fortified is fortitude
Along with gifts of gratitude
 
For stillness does the soul contend
Craving a more holistic trend
From daily frenzy, quite prolonged
That simply robs of cheerful song 
See, minds unclouded find redress 
In openness and selflessness
Oh, stillness marked by love’s caress
Helps make of life a great success
