EXPECTATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 
Seasons come and seasons go
There is a time for everything under the sun
So, we hold balance in our expectations 
About possible experiences
 
Like friends of Job, we may question the fairness of life
In relation to pervading afflictions 
But earthly challenges provide opportunity for love
To deepen its channels
In our minds and hearts
And to grant us greater patience and peace
Plus overcoming strength
 
Therefore, in whatever state we find ourselves 
We purposely choose joy
And opt to see the inherent beauty
