Help Needed

Greetings…
We are living in a world fraught with unprecedented challenges and changes. Without a doubt, we need help to realize a more caring and just society. Importantly, this begins with, and is sustained by, sound leadership - informed by collaborative wisdom.
I look around and wonder at the dearth in courage, honesty, integrity, and foresight which leaders of various stripes now display. Regrettably, there is a growing culture of “little men”.... And I ponder how the present, universal devolution will pan out, and how timely will be the recovery.
Kudos to those who are choosing instead to speak and do rightly as servant-leaders, despite the cost…. And holding hope, we continue to pray: heaven help us all. 

LITTLE MEN
Those who seek out power and control
To retain ideas that are dated
Most often behave like little men
Who in their minds are over-rated
 
It’s sad how the thoughts of little men
Bind them fast to greed and selfishness
And deprive their souls of nobler things
As slaves to conceit and narrowness
