Heatwave

Greetings…
Alarmingly, temperatures are rising around the world, and not just weather-wise. Concerning news on the weather front includes warnings of further global warming, and potential catastrophes or disasters, with a super El Niño on the horizon. As well, there are surging, unprecedented tensions looming, relating to war, crime, injustice, food insecurity, inflation, illness and diseases, abuse, digital threats, apathy, etc.
With extremes manifesting, instant proliferation of information internationally doesn’t necessarily help to reduce related anxiety - especially when much of what is broadcast is false or inaccurate. So too, many practices once thought effective now need informed rethinking.  Sadly, in what seems to be an accelerating emotional roller-coaster ride, our collective dizziness or disorientation sometimes blurs the good that exists. As gaps with destructive implications grow wider, we must do all we can to protect the world, including our communal and personal health.
To conclude, here are some questions:

• What will it take to cauterize the rupture that’s occurring? What is within our control? What role might you and I play?
• How does one retain stability, sanity, and solace in light of the unprecedented reality?
• What brings you optimism in these changing times?
• What do you anticipate the global redefinition will look like, in the name of liveability and sustainability?
