FLASHBACK FRIDAY: YOUTH SPEAK

Hello and happy day....
It is really true: "Kids say the darnedest things".....

Students have added tremendously to my bank of memories via international trips on which I was co-chaperone. The memories take different forms with varied impact - some deeply profound, others very funny, et cetera. 
I remember on a particular trip, the day's itinerary included an optional visit to a cathedral. As we checked out the surroundings, Ivan confidently remarked to his peers: "Do you know why we have time zones? We have time zones so G-d can answer prayers in batches!" 
That was a shared moment of utter amazement.
