Flashback Friday: Stormy Week

Good day. 

Hurricane Beryl has made an unprecedented mark.  Our hearts go out to the millions who have suffered devastation and loss. By all accounts, generally, the devastation would have been far worse in the absence of forethought and preparation.
This is much like the storms of life that each of us will experience. Hence, I ponder.... How am I preparing for the inevitable upheavals of life? How well will I be anchored and secure in times of storm? How hopeful will I be? 'Tis true:

Into each life the rain must come
None is immune to dismal days
Truly, we all face challenges
In a variety of ways

Showers beget resilience
We're rendered stronger in the main
The brightness of each rainbow says
That we'll make it after the rain
