Flashback Friday: Launched With Gratitude

Happy day.
Looking over the past week, a highlight has definitely been the Book Launch on August 24.
Many thanks to all supporters for this gratifying and humbling experience.
Interestingly, while I have been writing poetry for many years, there was no grand plan to publish a book. Well... the stars aligned and “Let’s Do Lemonade” was birthed. 
Here, I am reminded of the importance or openness, optimism and perseverance - to contribute thoughtfully to the world, using our gifts and talents. Indeed, this all speaks to readiness, to seize the opportunities that come our way as we seek to make a positive difference. With appreciation, I close citing the following lines from the poem “Where Do I Go”:
“Change is never far away / For what is truly mine / Always arrives at just the right time”.
