Flashback Friday: Gratitude

Hello and Happy day.
Tomorrow is the launch for “Let’s Do Lemonade”. This book became a reality via the incredible support I received from various quarters.  Looking back at the preparation for publication and for the launch, I am simply in awe of all the kind expressions. With thanksgiving, I share the latter portion of the poem “Gratitude”.... 

GRATITUDE (excerpt) 

Appreciation I must show 
At every chance I get 
A grateful heart, a selfless heart
Knows good will good beget 
 
And when in all things I give thanks 
In thoughtful, timely ways
Goodness and mercy circle me 
And follow all my days 
 
With each gesture of thankfulness  
My mind becomes renewed 
Nothing shall I for granted take 
I’ll live with gratitude
