FLASHBACK FRIDAY - Granny's Wisdom

Hi... Both my grandmothers passed away when my parents were quite young. My dad was raised by an aunt whom I considered a humble, kind-hearted, everyday angel. Looking back, I am thankful for the (elders') wisdom that she taught me - and my six siblings.  Here's my rendition of one of Granny's nuggets:

Good manners and deference
Can transport you across oceans
And into palaces
