Amidst Tensions

Hello…
We are living in a world of such deep restlessness and uncertainty, that we sometimes forget life’s dealings in duality. You see, amidst the mayhem, tension, fighting, et cetera, we are also afforded great opportunities. Hope says we will never despair, and we will do our best to steadfastly shine a light for the betterment of self and others. This is a test of character which requires conviction and courage. We must also keep reminding ourselves that we have what it takes to champion just causes and to weather any storm, especially in the spirit of togetherness.
So, considering all that we face [including personal challenges, and escalating trade wars], it is worth asking: What is within my power to do and be, to promote peace, wholeness, health, and stability? 

Below are some short verses to ponder. Which one resonates with you the most?

1. The words of the wise sustain goodness and truth.
2. True fulfilment comes by doing what is just, fair, and right.
3. We weave the fibre of injustice into the fabric of our lives when we disrespect, exploit, and oppress others.
4. Extortionist economics leads to vile and exploitative ends.
5. Courage is the propulsion to undertake a goal-oriented action, in defiance of fear and doubt.
6. Pure intention + thoughtful action = profound impact
