Alive With Gratitude

Good day, and happy Autumn…
Having a grateful heart does wonders. I am presently finalizing a poem on this topic for the YouTube poetry post on October 1st. In the meantime, I share some verses below. 
All the best as you continue to abide and thrive in the spirit of gratefulness.

GRATEFULNESS [EXCERPT]
 .....
True expressions of gratitude 
Are key to healthy connections
As grace is released lavishly 
Both in us and through our actions 
 
Beauty inhabits thankfulness 
It’s the wealth in the human heart
And out of that selfsame storehouse
Compassionate care we impart  
 
In all, gratefulness is freeing
And has a contagion effect
Tempering our relationships
With empathy and deep respect 
 
Ah, gratefulness can change a day
Even our very countenance
Recognizing how blest we are 
Boosts our hope with strong assurance 
….. 
So, filled with appreciation
We mindfully take time to see 
The promise in each circumstance
And the innate goodness there be
…..
Like sunlight that prompts plants to grow
Or truth that’s the basis for trust
The soul in humble wholesomeness 
Regards gratefulness as a must
